Alison Brockman is our founding and Managing Partner, opening Brockmans in October 1992. Her legal career has always been property orientated and having dealt with commercial property for a time, she now specialises in residential conveyancing and is quite often instructed on high value purchases. She is known by City and provincial agents alike, and her expertise extends to the more complex property issues that can come with purchasing properties in some of the more traditional and older London Estates. Alison lives locally and is keen that Brockmans maintains a strong community presence. She encourages a fair and professional approach and believes that Senior Partners should lead by example. |
Julie Docherty |

Julie Docherty joined Brockmans as a Partner in 2002. Julie has specialised in residential property matters for many years, and is an extremely competent and knowledgeable conveyancer. Her approach is methodical and clients often offer up praise for her rational and approachable manner, and for the swift and competent way in which their house sale/purchase has progressed. Julie has been engaged in various partnerships designed at delivering affordable housing to key workers and the public alike and she has sound knowledge and experience in shared ownership, “buy to let” and other investment purchases. Julie lives locally and her knowledge and understanding of the area and the needs of its inhabitants has proved an invaluable asset to the firm. |
Tony Ford |

Tony Ford is our third Partner and he joined Alison and Julie in 2003. He has in excess of 30 years’ experience in commercial property and is adept at dealing with the more complex areas of land transactions. Businesses, large and small, have called upon him (and made referrals to him) for a whole range of commercial property transactions ranging from lease renewal to act for both Landlords and Tenants on the sale and purchase of licenced premises, garages (such as petrol stations) and on service charge disputes. Davina Hendy |

Davina Hendy qualified in Southampton in 2002 but has pre-qualification experience in family law going back to 1999. Her career started in domestic violence and “snatched children” which afforded her experience with emotional and complex, yet urgent matters. In 2002, Davina moved over into litigation and in 2006 she obtained a specialist Diploma in Civil Litigation. Her work varies from family disputes through to contentious probate claims and beyond to high value commercial matters. Susan Stone |

Susan Stone has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with private client matters such generally known as “Wills and Probate”. Susan works for Brockmans as a Consultant and we are very proud that she has remained with us since 1997 and provided our clients with practical and realistic advice and assistance in a compassionate manner. Hilary Hargreaves |

Hilary Hargreaves joined Brockmans in 1997 as a Consultant and works with Tony Ford in our Commercial Property Team. She is a commercial leasehold expert although is engaged in a whole range of general property transactions. She has many clients who re-instruct her time after time and has links with local surveyors and agents. |

Faye McMahon is our Office and Accounts Manager. She has been with Brockmans very much since the start and we are very lucky to have someone as knowledgeable and down to earth in such an important role.
